To further enhance students' Chinese writing ability,
to improve Nepalese Students oral communication skills, on July 4, Confucius
Institute held a Chinese writing and speech contests as a form of second
classes.
The theme of this activity is "reading classics, passing thoughts".
CI called for papers from all the students, and invited majority of teachers
and students to recite and show. Confucius Institute Chinese teachers,
volunteer teachers served as judges on respectively recitation voice and
accuracy of content.
The purpose of organizing such activities is for Nepal
students who are interested in learning Chinese, to enhance their Chinese
proficiency, and to facilitate the Confucius Institute finding talents
for Hanban "Chinese Bridge" and other high-level Chinese games;
to summarize Nepal Students' errors on common Chinese, which is conducive
to the future expansion of the Confucius Institute Chinese teaching.
Ten students recommended by the classroom teacher participated in contest.
They recited and read some Chinese famous poems and other original works.
Three outstanding students will be given certificate by the Vice-chancellor
at the Confucius Institute board meeting.
