Chinese class held for the media is valued highly by Chinese Embassy and CIKU. April 10, 2013, on behalf of Chinese Embassy, Chinese director of CIKU Prof. Dr. Wang Shengli donated Chinese books and dictionaries to the students, encouraging them to study Chinese hard, to report real China and do contribution to the friendship between China and Nepal.
The media Chinese class is focused on the editors and journalist of the mainstream media. There are already 34 students since the class started. They overcome the difficulties and make time from their busy work to attend the class because of their enthusiasm in Chinese language. At present, they have finished the study of Pinyin and go to the practice of daily communication. One of the students reported the donation activity voluntarily.
