Confucius Institute actively participates in community activities; strive to create a good image and ways for the spread of Chinese language. On July 31, representatives of CIKU attended Army Day reception at the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, to celebrate the 86 anniversary of the Chinese People's Liberation Army.
Chinese Ambassador in Nepal Wu Chun Tai and Chinese Embassy army commander in Nepal Cheng Xizhong attended the reception, as well as the Nepal Army Chief of Staff Gaurav Rana and leaders of other parties, government, military .Some foreign diplomats stationed in Nepal and representatives from Chinese-funded institutions were also invited. More than 500 people attended the reception.
