Teaching on the Scenery Spot
(CIKU, May 24th) Teachers from Confucius Institute
moved class to the Scenery Spot, Saturaday, one of the cultural
activities in series.
Chinese Director, Mr. Shang Liwei went together
with 14 Chinese fans, Volunteer Chinese teachers after a successful
Chinese Corner held in Bishal Bazaar to the beautiful Sundara
Zal to discuss the effective ways and significance of mastering
Chinese language. Most of them are Chinese beginners who are not
sure about the significance of Chinese Learning, and some of the
"Chinese Masters" told the beginners with their experiences
how to make rapid progress. The beginners are greatly encouraged
and their confidence in learning Chinese was built up.
Another teacher from Confucius Institute, Mrs.
Zhang Xiying, took another group of students to the Historic Dubar
Square and Towers with thousands of Buddas. Theses students are
tourguides, so they are quite sure about what they need. They
hope the teacher can teach them on the spot how to introduce the
places of interest and how to answer the Chinese tourists' questions
and how to please them with Chinese pop songs. Mrs. Zhang taught
them with her knowledge, and the students asked many questions
concerning the legendaries and tales about these places in Chinese.
Teachers from CI pay great attention to the teaching
methods and they teach through amusement, which nourishes the
students curiosity in learning.
