New Class Opened

8 students registered with Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University started their first Chinese classes today. Chinese Director, Mr. Shang Liwei presided over the Opening Ceremony with the presence of the other two Chinese teachers, Mrs HeYi and Zhang Xiying.

At the ceremony, Mr. Shang Liwei introduced to the students, the purpose of establishment of CIKU, the teaching activities that CIKU offers, and the students' access to library, computers and Internet. The opening ceremony came to an end with Mr.Shang Liwei' granting to each student a cap and a T-shirt with logoes of Kathmandu University, Hebei University of Economics and Business, and Confucius Institute at K. U.
