May 2, 2009 the Mayor, Liu Sen together with the Confucius grandson of 77th generation, director of Confucius Museum and the vice-director of Commerce of Qufu city, China visited CIKU. Dr. Li Wanxian warmly welcomed Mayor Liu’s group and introduced CIKU to them. Mr. Liu Sen expressed his appreciation toward Wang Hua, the student tour guide from CIKU and also what CIKU has done in the past two years. He said, as the mayor of Confucius’ hometown, he is very happy to see Confucius Picture here in Nepal and pleased to share Confucius cultural resources in Qufu city with CIKU in the future. Mayor Liu Sen also presented a copy of inscription tablet and video materials of Qufu City to CIKU.
