Real Chinese Flavor
(CI at KU) Two teachers from CI at KU introduced
typical Chinese food to students from Confucius Institute, International
Language College, School of Management at Kathmandu University,
and cooked on the spot some household dishes for those present
to taste.
Chinese food is well-known and popular worldwide.
Students from Nepal are very keen on Chinese Food and cuisine,
which encouraged the teachers from CI to offer a Picture Show
and as an extension of the Show, two teachers from CI cooked Stir-fried
Chicken with Green Pepper, Green Pepper, Carrot and Potato Shreds,
Scrambled Eggs with Tomatoes, Cucumber with Garlic, and etc. Both
teachers and students and even their family observed the whole
process of cooking, and they learned a lot about Chinese cooking
, which aroused their curiosity of learning Chinese Culture and
especially Chinese Language.
Jeetendra from the Basic Chinese Class said:
"The teachers are intoxicated with the students' satisfaction,
they have already had enough even though they didn't have anything".
