2014 Joint Conference of Confucius Institutes in parts of Asia held in Jakarta, Indonesia on the 26th. Representations of 78 Confucius Institutes and classrooms, Embassies and consulates from 23 Asian countries attended the meeting. The conference aims to sum up the past successful experience, and research strategy for future development of Confucius Institutes in Asia. Xu Lin, the director of Hanban, delivered a speech at the conference.
