Chinese Teachers Gave Chinese Classes to High School Students

Headed by Chinese Director, Mr. Shang Liwei, Chinese Teachers, Mrs He Yi and Zhang Xiying gave Chinese classes to Bal Deeksha Sadan High Secondary School.

Aiming at promotion of Chinese Language and Culture, teachers from Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University have been busy with all kinds of teaching activities. To give classes to high school students is one of them. After contacting the Headmaster, Mr. Shiva Shrestha, agreement on giving trial Chinese Class was reached between Bal Deeksha Sadan High Secondary School and Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University. Mr. Shiva Shrestha said that we should not only teach students knowledge from textbooks, but also offer them opportunities. China and Nepal are close neighbours and Chinese can bridge the two nations.

The classes turned out to be a great success from the students' interaction and their cheerful laughters.
