3rd Confucius Institute International Conference was held in Beijing, China from 9th -11 December 2008. Registrar of Kathmandu University, Professor. Dr. Bhadraman Tuladhar, Director of Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University Mr. Madhu Bhattarai, Chinese Director of Confucius Institute at Kathmandu University Dr. Li Wanxian and Ms. He Yi, Chinese language teacher of CI had participated in the conference. In addition, 12th – 13th December, a separate two days meeting was organized for the Directors of Confucius Institute. Mr. Madhu Bhattarai and Li Wanxian participated in two days meeting. Similarly, another four days programs were organized by HANBAN for the representatives and teachers of Chinese language teaching organizations.
