The 19th Boarding Meeting of CIKU was held successfully on March 15th, 2013. The Vice-Chancellor of KU, Prof. Dr. Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha, the Registrar, Prof. Dr. Bhadra Man Tuladhar, the Director of Culture Section of Chinese Embassy, Zhang Bing, the President of Nepal China Cultural and Educational Council, Dr Harish C. Shah, the President of Nepal China Executives Council, Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai, the dean of School of Management, Prof. Subas KC, the Dean of School of Arts, Prof. Dr. Mahesh Banskota, Dr. Sagar Raj Sharma in Human and Natural Resources Studies Center, KU and other board meeting members including the directors of both sides and teachers attended the meeting.
The directors of CIKU reported the working plan for the next year. They also expressed the desire to further strengthen the cooperation in various areas like economy, culture and resource sharing, to exchange the outstanding scholars and students, with the principle of “equality and cooperation, complementary advantages, mutual benefit and creating a win-win situation for both parties”.
