Recently, CIKU successfully completed the first China tour of principals group. The principals are very satisfied with the tour, being shocked by the rapid development of China, and indicate that they will give strong support for Chinese language teaching.
The trip lasted two weeks, led by Director Mr. Wang Shengli, with 11 school leaders from eight schools participating. During in China, the principals discussed with the International Center of Hebei University of Economics and Business and institute of international education on Chinese language teaching and in-depth cooperation. They also visited the library of Hebei University of Economics and Business, experiencing Chinese university education, lamented by the strong learning atmosphere of Hebei University of Economics and Business and the superior learning conditions. In addition, the principals also visited Hanban headquarters, Tsinghua University, The Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Confucian, Confucius Temple and Cemetery. They indicated that China has a rich cultural heritage and remarkable achievements and Nepal should encourage students to learn Chinese language, know more about China and learn from China.
It has been the first China trip of principals group held by CIKU, and it accumulated valuable experience for the future principal group, summer camps and winter camps to carry out. At the same time, it deepened their understanding to China, Chinese culture and Chinese language. It also strengthened their support for Chinese language teaching.
